In a future world without aeroplanes, children would gather at the feet of old men, and hear extraordinary tales of a mythic time when vast and complicated machines the size of several houses used to take to the skies and fly high over the Himalayas and the Tasman Sea.
The wise elders would explain that inside the aircraft, passengers, who had only paid the price of a few books for the privilege, would impatiently and ungratefully shut their window blinds to the views, would sit in silence next to strangers while watching films about love and friendship - and would complain that the food in miniature plastic beakers before them was not quite as tasty as the sort they could prepare in their own kitchens.
Es ist seltsam, seit Tagen kein Flugzeug mehr zu sehen, keine Kondensstreifen am Himmel zu entdecken… It’s strange to live under a suddenly empty sky.

Dr. Horrible als ein klassisches GameBoy-Spiel. Ich finde keine Worte. Dr. Horrible as a classic 8-bit game. That’s so great.
So ein Magazin würde ich kaufen, obwohl ich auch dem altmodischen Papier etwas abgewinnen kann. Außerdem erspart es uns die absurd hohen Preise für ausländische Zeitungen. Digitale Inhalte muss man eben nicht ins Flugzeug laden. Even though I really like paper, this looks like a great alternative, especially for us Germans. Digital content is independent from location, so it saves us the ridiculous shipping fees. In Germany, an issue of Wired UK is 10€. Absurd. (At least the subscriptions are almost reasonably priced.)
