I just watched the most recent one about “The Prime Burger”, a burger place in Manhatten that has been around for 74 years. The amazing camera work really captures the place. Eight minutes well spent.

Matt Drance so eloquently says what I have been trying to put into words. We live in a truly amazing time, and some of its awesomeness is Steve’s work. He has truly, undeniably changed the world we live in. He also was, and is, an inspiration. I am deeply grateful to have shared a planet with him.

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich dieses Rezept eher so mittel fand. Vermutlich liegt das an meiner Inkompetenz mit der Bratpfanne. Mit Marmelade, Zaziki oder Parmesan aber nicht schlecht. Ein paar Notizen:

• Lemon Zest ist geriebene Zitronenschale.
• Ich habe als Maß für Cups völlig ahnungslos Teetassen genommen, vielleicht hat das Ganze am Ende deshalb so lasch geschmeckt.
• Aus Zucchini kommt überraschend viel Saft, und mit der Hand die Späne ausquetschen macht auf eine leicht perverse Art sehr viel Spaß.
• Eine kleine, gehackte Zwiebel schadet auf keinen Fall.

Ein neuer Podcast, der alle drei Wochen eine andere Serie vorstellt. Das Thema der ersten Folge ist “Game of Thrones”, die Serien-Adaption des Fantasy-Epos “A Song of Ice and Fire”. Ich bin auch zu hören, wenn auch ein wenig konfus. In der zweiten Folge wird es besser, versprochen!
