A beautiful (and slightly disturbing) short film that tries to imagine a future with ubiquitous augmented reality. The film seems to force itself to be a bit more dystopian than appropriate, though. I really can’t see the fundamental difference between constantly fumbling with your phone and interacting through some kind of high-tech contact lens. (Well, one: They look incredibly creepy.)
And now for a reality check: The Valve blog has a good explanation why this level of augmented reality won’t be technically feasible anytime soon.
